a bit about me:

I have spent most of my life in the New York City/ New Jersey area. I have been hearing impaired essentially since birth due to spinal meningitis and I could not hear anything until the age of 5 with the help of hearing devices. From the very beginning of my life, I had to understand and communicate with the world in a different, a visual way. This is directly correlated with my passion for design and bringing businesses to life through visuals. I always valued the proverb “the work speaks for itself” since I did not have the speech either to be able to verbalize my thoughts properly. Today, while I am able to hear and say almost everything I still live by the notion that the work should speak on its own. When the creative concept and imagery is impactful, no verbal explanation or sound (sometimes) is necessary.

When faced with adversity, I chose to create through other outlets. My work has been featured in numerous facets, including but not limited to national publications such as Vogue & Vanity Fair and most recently a digitally driven landscape. Interacting with fellow designers and clients is what motivates me daily. My passion for design and creation also expands far past my career; I enjoy drawing, making jewelry, sewing and interior design. I will spend an entire weekend antiquing to find the perfect piece to complete a room (though, it will probably never be finished or satisfactory). My mind is constantly seeking ways to improve visual formats. You will always find me at a friend’s or family’s place suggesting how to rearrange their home to make the space feel more visually appealing and welcoming.
